Introduction to Marketing

MarketingMarketing is a continual process of planning and implementation of the four P’s (Product, Place, Price and Promotion) for either a product or service, or providing an incentive for exchange between individuals and organisations.

Essentially, marketing directs businesses of all sizes to be successful in delivering a product or service to the people that are not only interested, but are willing to buy. Another vital role of marketing is by discovering research from its target market/audience, to give the organisation an advantage from its competitors.

Once you have developed a marketing plan for your business then it will enable you to create taylored tactics to reach your target audience. Alot of people are mistaken by a marketing plan and include it with in a business plan, this should be a seperate document that is solely aimed to plan your strategy before you can then continue with trial and improvement.
